Thi Be Gam Tran, a Vietnamese national started her MSc thesis project to review recent changes in the sector and describe the current practices of sludge removal management in Pangasius farms and other uses of the sludge in the Mekong Delta. Her field work was carried out from May - July 2017 in four provinces, Can Tho, An Giang, Dong Thap, and Vinh Long
The project was funded by Aquaculture Stewardship Council (ASC); Global Aquaculture Alliance (GAA) https://www.aquaculturealliance.org/ and World Wild Fund for Nature (WWF) http://vietnam.panda.org/
