A "Fireside Chat" with Dr Gupta at the ANH Academy

Professor David Little attended the recent Agriculture, Nutrition & Health Academy (ANHA) in Hyderabad, India from 24-29th June 2019. Within the conference programme he interviewed Dr Modadugu Vijay Gupta, Former Assistant Director General of WorldFish and pioneer of the blue revolution in Asia. Dr Gupta was awarded the World Food Prize in 2005, for development and dissemination of low-cost techniques for freshwater fish farming (using tilapia species) by the rural poor. Furthermore In 2015, was selected for the first Sunhak Peace Prize, in recognition of his creating an aquaculture system for the poor, rural populations in Asia, Africa and the Pacific.
